Great taste and really easy to make. We like a thin crust but I think I rolled it out too thin (got three pizzas) which meant it a bordered on being a little like cardboard (my fault not the recipe sharer's). Next time I will make two pizzas only so hopefully the base will be just perfect.

    Hmmmm

Suggested cooking time? Also my dough did not raise and I did the following...used warm water and heated to 37 degrees and let it stand to froth. ...result no froth and no raising. I am looking forward to seeing end result...''Update" it was amazing! Does not matter if it does not rise tmrc_emoticons.)

    I cooked for 15 to 20 minutes and it's perfect tmrc_emoticons.)

Question ...do you freeze your extra base (if not needed) cooked or fresh and topped or not topped?

    Submitted by GinStar on 28. May 2016 - 21:08.

Nice thin pizza dough, I wasn't completely happy with end result once cooked as underneath was very dough like and not crispy and crunchy as we like it. Didn't double in size & only made 1 large pizza. Great for those times you want a quick dough & haven't planned making it.

    Submitted by Kim_LA on 21. April 2015 - 17:43.

Hi! Just discovered when attempting to make this that the TM5 does not allow you to heat and knead at the same time : (

I already had all the ingredients in there so I've just kneaded it for the 3 minutes and will see how it goes. Can I suggest a note for TM5 saying add water & yeast and heat 37, for 2 minutes speed 2 then add other ingredients and knead for 3?

Just a thought. I'll let you know how it turns out without being able to heat it anyway.

    Submitted by chanders1974 on 6. March 2015 - 18:47.

You need to add some flour or Polenta to the stone to stop it sticking. Make sure the stone is very hot when the pizza goes on it. I always use baking paper to stop it sticking. It sounds like you didn't have the ratios right. It shouldnt come out wet...Did you use warm water and make sure the yeast is in date and not old!

    Submitted by armapi on 31. January 2015 - 17:51.

Hey all. New at this so a quick question. I cooked this on pizza stone but it stuck (first time I had used), wasn't crunchy on bottom and still quite doughy. It seemed a bit wet and stringy when I got it out of the TM so should I have added more flour? It also didn't seem to double in size when I sat it aside. Any thought appreciated!!! From a pizza-making virgin!

    Submitted by Thebartlettbunch on 9. November 2014 - 18:34.

This recipe made 2 thin bases, and served one adult and three kids 8 and under.I used a pizza docker on one base, and this made no difference to them.   We are big fans of thin bases and still trying to find the perfect recipe, so crunchy on the whole thing, not just the edges.  It should read 3 min/37 degrees/Dough mode/Closed lid in the recipe.  Nice, but I will keep searching, thank you tmrc_emoticons.)
