tmrc_emoticons.) i'm busy with this lovely dish, i don't think any water is required when cooking the pumpkin. Instead of cream, i'll use coconut flavoured evaporated milk!

  • Thanks Katinka. I dont bother

tmrc_emoticons.) Thanks Katinka. I dont bother to blind bake. Putting the quiche dish onto a baking tray in the oven helps cook the base evenly after it is filled. If you have the time, blind baking would have a crispier result.

    Happy baking.xx

    Thanks Christine,

Loved your pastry recipe...I used flax and spelt...Fantastic.  I'm saving this to have a go with other grains.

I roasted cauliflower, onion, pumpkin and broccoli little olive oil, cumin pwder, cinnamon, and tumeric powder.  Filled shell topped with cooked bacon strips then added egg mixture.  Made for a more chunky result.  Very healthy and yum.

    I blind baked shell...Do you?

    Thanks again!!
