Zucchini Mushroom & Bacon Slice

  • 135 g Self Raising Flour

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. pre heat oven to 180 degrees 

  2. grate cheese 10 second, speed 5. Put aside. 

  3. add onion and zucchini to bowl. Roughly chop 5sec speed 5 (or until desired consistenc) 

  4. add eggs and oil. Mix 10 seconds speed 4 Counter-clockwise operation 

  5. add flour, mix 10 seconds speed 4 Counter-clockwise operation

  6. add mushrooms and bacon. Mix 10 seconds speed 4 Counter-clockwise operation

  7. pour mixture into slice pan. sprinkle cheese on top. Bake for 25 min or until golden brown and firm. Serve.

    This was very nice will be adding this to my collection. I just made a couple changes and worked well. I  Didn’t   add as much oil only 80g and  only 120g bacon and used gluten free flour. all changes worked well.

    Great easy recipe. Just one suggestion, maybe mention at the start of the recipe to grate the cheese? I realised once all the ingredients were in the bowl that I needed to grate cheese! Thanks.
