      Recipe is created for
      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    to make the base...
  1. grease and line a slice pan (size of pan will determine depth of slice and number of portions - I use 22cmx32cm)

add whole packet of biscuits to jug and process 10 secs, sp 7. set aside.

place butter (roughly chopped) to jug and melt 2 mins, 100C, sp 1.

add biscuit crumbs to melted butter and combine 30 secs, Counter-clockwise operation sp4.

press into prepared pan and place in fridge.

    clean jug.

  2. for the caramel ...
  3. pour all 3 cans of condensed milk into jug and cook 12min, 110C, sp 3.5

once thick and smooth pour over biscuit base and return to fridge.

    clean jug.

  4. for chocolate topping...
  5. place chocolate (broken into pieces) into jug and grate, 10 secs, sp 7.

    melt 4 mins, 100C, sp2.

once melted and smooth pour over caramel and biscuit.

    return to fridge.

once set slice into pieces with hot knife (so the chocolate doesnt crack) and enjoy!

  • Delicious, the only downside

Delicious, the only downside is that even with a hot heated knife it was hard to slice, maybe it needs some copha in the chocolate to make it less hard.
