Bliss Blasts

  • 30 grams almonds, (Almonds will be milled, so can use almond meal instead)
  • 1000 grams water
  • 150 grams dates
  • 20 grams cacao powder
  • 10 grams chia seeds
  • 30 grams coconut oil
  • 20 grams dessicated coconut, for rolling

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Bliss Blast Balls
  1. Mill Almonds 2mins/sp9 - Set aside

    Add water and place dates in simmering bowl, MC on. 5mins/100deg/Counter-clockwise operation1

    Drain dates and empty water

    Add milled almonds, dates, cacao powder,chia seeds. MC on, 30secs/spd9 - scrape down sides.

    Add coconut oil. 30sec/spd9

    Roll into 12 balls, and roll in coconut.

    Refridgerate for 1 hour before serving.

    I doubled the recipe and steamed the dates longer as my temp didn’t get even near the 100degrees after 5 mins. (12 mins steaming time)
    I used chia flour not seeds as that’s all I had at home.
