Ingredients

Cupcakes

  • 190 grams plain flour
  • 100 grams caster sugar
  • 110 grams brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 170 grams Butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 125 grams Milk
  • 80 grams chocolate chips

Buttercream

  • 180 grams Butter
  • 450 grams icing sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons Heavy cream or milk

Recipe's preparation

    Cupcakes
  1. 1. Add flour, sugars, baking powder and salt to the bowl. Turbo approximately 5 times for 1 second to sift.

     

  2. 2. Add butter, vanilla and milk and mix for 30 seconds, speed 4.

  3. 3. Add choc chips and mix Counter-clockwise operation, 15 seconds, speed 3. Or fold through by hand with a spatula.

     

  4. 4. Divide evenly between pattypans (should make approximately 15) and bake in 180 degree preheated oven for 15 - 20 minutes.

  5. Buttercream
  6. Add butter and icing sugar and mix Counter-clockwise operation speed 2 for 2 minutes.

  7. Add cream/milk and vanilla and mix Counter-clockwise operation speed 2 for 3 minutes.
