  • 80 g cocoa powder
  • 60 g plain flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 4 eggs
  • 250 g unsalted butter cubed
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract or 1 tsp vanilla bean paste

Recipe's preparation

    Choc Chip Brownies
  1. Preheat oven to 160 degrees, fan forces (315 F /Gas 2-3)

    Line baking tin with greaseproof paper

    Mill sugar for 3 seconds on speed 9, set aside

    Melt butter for 3 mins, 90 degrees on speed 3

    Add all ingredients except the choc bits (buttons or chips) and mix for 25 seconds on speed 3

    Add the buttons/choc chips and mix for 10 seconds on reverse, speed 3 Counter-clockwise operation

    Using the spatula, scrape the mixture into the greaseproof lined baking tin. 

    Bake for 45 minutes

    TO SERVE

    Vanilla icecream 

    Cocoa powder for dusting

Mill sugar in 2 batches - 200g and 170g, set aside
