      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    pastry
  1. Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees celsius.

Add all pastry ingredients into mixing bowl and bring together on speed 5 for 15-20 sec. Turn pastry out onto baking paper.

    Topping

Add nuts to bowl and chop twice 1 sec on turbo. Add sugar, butter and vanilla into bowl. Melt 4 mins / 100 degrees / speed 2.

    Assembly

While topping is melting and mixing, roll out pastry on baking paper to fit a baking tray to make a square or rectangle shape.

Spread jam evenly over the uncooked pastry.

Pour melted nut topping over pastry and spread evenly.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 25-30 mins.

Once cooled cut into desired size (I like triangles)

Melt chocolate for 4 mins, 50 degrees celsius, Speed 4 or until completely melted.

Dip corners into chocolate and let set.

Tip

I store mine in a tin in the fridge or wrap them in celophane and give away as christmas gifts.

These biscuits are always on the christmas plate at my families house in germany.
