Chocolate Chip Cookies

Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • 50 g Whole wheat grain
  • 60 g rolled oats
  • 200 g Butter
  • 260 g rapadura sugar or raw sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 250 g plain flour
  • 1/2 tsp bicarb soda
  • 250 g choc chips, (or chocolate chopped into chunks)

Recipe's preparation

    Cookie Dough
  1. Preheat oven to 180C.

    Place wheat grain and rolled oats into TM bowl and mill 1 minute speed 9. Set aside.

    If using block chocolate, chop into chunks (press turbo a few times till desired chunk size is reached). Set aside.

    Place Butter, Sugar, Vanilla and egg into TM bowl. Mix for 1 minute speed 4, scraping down sides halfway through.

    Add flour and bicarb and wheat and oat flour mix. Knead 20-30 seconds Closed lidDough mode or until dough is almost combined. Add chocolate chips and knead a further 10-20 seconds Closed lidDough mode until mixed.

  2. Spoon tablespoon sized balls onto baking tray with baking paper. 

    Bake 12 inutes or until lightly golden.

Tip

If you like your cookies flat, increase the bicarb to 1 tsp.

If you like crunchy cookies, cook for an additional 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.

  • I think you could cut down on

    I think you could cut down on the amount of sugar. I left out the vanilla essence and they were still too sweet.

    Otherwise they were yummy
