Biscuit base

  • 125 grams Butter
  • 65 grams brown sugar
  • 125 grams SR flour
  • 40 grams Coconut
  • pinch salt

Topping

  • 1/2 can condensed milk
  • 1 level tablespoon cocoa
  • 2 level teaspoons vanilla essence
  • 30 grams soft butter
  • 120 grams icing sugar
  • 80 grams Desiccated Coconut

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Biscuit base
  1. Place butter and sugar into jug mix on speed 4 1 min

    add dry ingredients mix Sppeed 3 40 secs

    press into slab tin and bake in moderate oven for 15 mins, while it is cooking prepare topping

  2. Filling
  3. Mix all ingredients together and spread on biscuit base while still hot. 

    Put in fridge. Cut into squares when chilled and set

Tip

I make my own condensed milk while biscuit base is cooking in the oven, very easy!
