      Recipe is created for
      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Tip

Make your own icing sugar by milling raw sugar on speed 10 for 20 seconds.  You may need to repeat this step a couple of time to get a really fine icing sugar

Our "go to" Birthday Cake - deliciously moist, beautiful deep flavour (I add a shot of Expresso) and not too dense. 😋
Made this time in my buttered/lightly floured Thermomix Rose Gold Bundt tin (had x4 cupcakes with left over batter) and baked on low rack for a little less time.
Featured on the TM UK Recipe Developers site eons ago as the Irish Guinness Chocolate Cake (from Nigella Lawson) and you can do GF if desired...😉
