This was the first recipe we tried with our Thermy. And we loved it! Have made them several times now and last week when I couldn't find the Cinnamon, I used Cocoa Powder and added choc chips. We've also added stewed apple to the cinnamon filling. Lovely every which way.

They were good but they were a bit biscuity and crumbly on the outside, rather than the soft ones you buy at the shops. Kids loved them but they haven't had the shop ones!

Yummo. Didn't last long out of the oven and only managed to get icing on a few. The iced ones were still delicious the next morning whilst the un-iced ones were ok. Would definitely serve these hot/warm & fresh.

So yum!  I made them smaller by cutting the dough in half before rolling it. I think if they were any bigger they would be a but much for one serve.  mine were like a firm scone consistency, not soft or bready, but still super yum, especially with a coffee.

Lovely recipe - this is the second thing I made in my new Thermomix!  The first being the butter I made a couple of minutes before so I could make these :)  Really yummy, love the scone type roll.

These are delicious!! I substituted the milk with rice milk and the butter with dairy free margarine and had to add about 50grms of extra flour to make a solid dough. Absolutely delicious.  Lasted 5 mins out of the oven before devoured by the family.

    Loved these

Taste more like a type of scone base. I went a bit light with the icing sugar but feel they can take quite a generous coating, depends how you like them. Will definitely do again and again.

Theses are so yummy and now using the base and adding other igredients

I find if you over cook them they'll be more like a biscuit, but still yummy.

Not sure where I went wrong but mine came out a bit more like a soft biscuit / pastry? Still tasty though, just need to get my dough right I think...

    Excellent afternoon tea treat!

Easy and quick to make. I cooked half on the day I made them and saved the other half in the fridge for a couple of days. Second lot just as god as the first.  Cooking

These were so tasty. But I halved all the ingredients and my dough was fine while rolling but turned out more like a pastry once baked. Also, my icing needed more water. Overall the flavours were amazing and I clearly just need to tweak it a little. Maybe if I didn't halve the recipe it would've turned out better. Or maybe my scales were having an off day!

So quick and easy!  We have made these many times now, especially if we're out for the day.  We really like the cinnamon ones but we have started making savoury fillings too.  Kids just love them, great for lunch boxes too.  Thanks for a quick and easy recipe that doesn't need proving, works a treat.

Love the scrolls, icing a bit plain - so I added some cinnamon to that too. Turned out lovely!

Delicious - the only thing that could improve these is if you can make them taste the same but make them fat free Tongue
