Yum, Yum Yum! I found the cinnamon filling quite grainy, it would be good to melt the sugar somehow first.

Super simple and easy to make - instead of the icing I just warmed them and drizzled with a bit of honey. Perfect after dinner snack.

    Absolutely Delicious!

I added sultanas to mine and they still worked a treat! I will use this recipe again!

Our new family favourite.  I froze mine and the are just as nice defrosted as the day they are cooked.  I love the scone-like texture.

I also cut mine with a pizza rocker slicer (not a wheel) because it cuts the whole width in one go.

I have tried so many different scroll recipes, they always seem to come out dry and crumbly. This is moist and soft and WONDERFUL. Thank you so much for posting this recipe. I will be coming back to it time and time again. I used dental floss to cut into circles, instead of knife, makes the end result neater. Cooking

Made these using gluten free self raising, lactose free milk and coconut sugar....sadly mine split into pieces. Sad tasted great and once smothered in sugary goodness there were no complaints about them being broken . Any Ideas how to stop them splitting and breaking?

A great quick sweet treat easy to make with things already in my pantry. I made it without the icing. Thank you, makes a great special afternoon tea treat for my kids. More like a scone than a scroll but yummy.

    Easy and popular!

Yum I made mine sugar free. I used dextrose instead of sugar - 29g and increased the butter to 75grams. I didn't ice mine- they were eaten too fast.

Absolutely a family fave now! So fast and so delicious!

Beautiful. Only change I would make is 3-4 tbsp of boiling water and poor icing over whilst runny. Pefection otherwise x

Nice and easy to make. I added more cinnamon to the mix. I was looking for a more bread like consistency but yummy none the less
