    OMG These are amazing!
I used sweetener instead of sugar so they'd fit within my diet and they turned out perfect.
One didn't make it off the tray before I had to taste test 😅

Wow, these are so good, and SO easy!
I reduced sugar to 100 g, which tasted great.
I might have undercooked them a bit? They had an OK colour and were chewy, but they had a bit of a soggy bottom the next day. I was baking anyway, so I bunged them back in (6 minutes @ 170) to be twice baked, and they were AMAZING!

We have made these once before and they were even better this time. We added glace cherries through the mix and used half dessicated/shredded coconut. I would cut down on the sugar next time. ***** stars once again for this recipe *****

    Submitted by McDreamSteam on 12. August 2016 - 18:40.

This recipe is fantastic. Super quick and easy and not a single crumb left. Beautifully crunchy on the outside and delicate and soft on the inside - Just how I like them. I used coconut sugar in place of raw, which gave them a slight caramel taste. Yum!

  • Absolutely delicious sugar

    Submitted by Kosmo on 15. April 2016 - 11:51.

    Absolutely delicious sugar high.

I doubled the recipe as I had 6 egg whites to use up. Ran out of desicated coconut so used half shredded coconut and gave it a quick blitz to break down. Gave it great texture.

    Submitted by kathyswi on 28. March 2016 - 16:19.

These were really great, I used a little bit less sugar and had to blend them a bit longer. But so simple. My oven is also not cooking evenly, so next time i'll spin the tray around half way through the cooking.

Now to see how well they freeze, as I want to use them for an upcoming party.

    Thanks for sharing
