Coconut Waffles with Coconut Choc Sauce

Waffles

  • 220g plain flour
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 40 g Coconut
  • 50 g Butter
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 270 can Coconut Milk or Cream
  • 2 tablespoon Water (if using Coconut Cream)
  • 30 g raw almonds
  • 150 g dark chocolate
  • 20 g Butter
  • 1 tablespoon Vanilla Bean Paste
  • 100 g Rice-Almond Milk (or normal milk)
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil

Recipe's preparation

    Waffles & Sauce
  1. 1.  Place dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, sugar, coconut) in TM bowl. Mix 4secs, sp3. Set aside.

    2.  Without washing bowl, melt butter & coconut oil 2mins, sp3.

    3.  Add dry ingredients, 3 eggs, coconut milk & water (if using).

    4.Blend 3secs, sp4-5.

    5.  Drop about 1/3 cup of mixture on hot waffle iron.

    6.  Whilst the waffles are cooking, crush almonds Turbo for 2 shots.  Set aside.

    7.  Keep waffles warm in Thermoserver and prepare the sauce.

  2. Coconut Choc Sauce:

    1.  Blitz up chocolate for 5secs, sp8.

    2.  Add butter, vanilla bean paste and coconut oil. Cook 4 mins, 50 deg, sp4.

    3.  Drizzle over hot waffles immediately and sprinkle roughly chopped almonds!
