    Submitted by knroche on 5. June 2016 - 18:42.

Delicious, moist and easy to make. I mix in a hand full of crushed cashews and hand full of chopped dates at the end, I used 3 really ripe bananas so may reduce sugar next time around especially when i add the dates. Put it in a rectangle lamington tin and cooked for 40min (but my oven maybe slow, just moved into a new house with an old oven).

    Submitted by krystalchaw on 9. September 2015 - 22:02.

This will now be my go-to banana cake recipe - so fluffy, moist and yummy. I added some chopped up chocolate (about 100gram) and decreased the amount of sugar in the recipe. I did have to cook mine for almost 45 minutes (covered with aluminium foil the last 15 minutes as the top was pretty brown) but it was all worth the wait! Thanks for sharing your recipe.

Creaming of butter and sugar is better with the butterfly in. Chop butter and sugar initially and then insert the butterfly.
