Made these on the weekend and followed the advice of previous comments to reduce the sugar. 180 grms was plenty sweet enough. I skipped the white chocolate, we're not fans and I also left out the almonds to make them school lunchbox friendly, but I added extra dark chocolate chunks to compensate. These spread quite significantly in the oven (my butter was warm which didn't help), so next time I'll make them a bit smaller and space them further apart. I made 20 quite large biscuits, could easily have made 30 smaller ones. They've been devoured and the small people already and have asked for another batch so that's always a good sign! Thanks for sharing a great recipe.

Lovely flavour and texture. The shredded coconut and flaked almonds gave the biscuits an interesting bite, and when cooked for just the 10 mins, they had a nice chewiness. I only used 160g of sugar which was plenty for our tastes. Thank you for sharing.
