I froze this cake and was just fine! As it de-frost in the microwave, came out a tiny little bit warm and we had it with vanilla ice-cream; it was very nice.

    Thanks for sharing Wink

Was the best GF butter cake I've tried. I started to panic that I'd used regular flour instead of GF flour and had to double check. Will definitely be making this regularly.

Seriously this is the BEST GF cake I have ever tasted. Still so light and fluffy 24 hours later which is unheard of for GF cakes! Thanks so much for this recipe. Do you know if I could double it to pour into 2 cake tins?

AMAZING!Made this for the first time the other day.My son and I have Coeliac Disease and haven't had a proper Butter Cake in AGES!This has surpassed ALL attempts by a packet mix!

Can't wait to use it for an actual 'cake' we were just 'mucking around' when we made this one.I want to add some saltans to it and make an 'Albert Cake' like my Nanna and I used to LOVE tmrc_emoticons.)Awesome work tmrc_emoticons.D

I didn't make it a marble cake, I  just kept it to the 'yellow' colour
