Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
add sugar and cream of tartar to bowl and blitz 10 seconds on speed 10. Push away from the blades and insert butterfly. Add egg whites. Set 7 minutes 37c speed 2. Remove lid and rest for 10 minutes. Apply lid, no MC, and beat 7 minutes speed 2.
Preheat oven to 100c and line 2 cookie trays with baking paper. Using gel colours, apply 6-7 colours in lines from tip to halfway up the piping bag fitted with 2D tip. Add meringue mix and now pipe roses starting in the centre and spiralling outwards. 12 should fit on each tray with room between to expand.
Bake for 90 minutes then allow to completely cool in switched off oven.

These are fantastic! My daughter requested meringues the other day, we made these and she and I were both very impressed. Didn't have gel colours so used a little food dye as I wasn't sure how much we'd need, will add a bit more next time as they looked great with marbled colour. Thanks for the recipe

Turned out great! I was looking for a thermomix method for my normal meringue recipe... decided to give this a go, and it worked! I add a little salt, vanilla and grated chocolate in the last couple of minutes mixing, but cooked up great, really happy with the consistency. Thank you

best meringue I've ever done,
best meringue I've ever done, thank you for a wonderful recipe. I didn't do them in rose shapes, just in little drop shapes. Due to the smaller size of my meringues and the fact that the lowest temp my oven goes to is 120 degrees I only needed to cook for about 25 mins and they came out lovely. I also shared it on my Thermie FB page, here's the link:

I didnt have any food gels, so just used food colouring to make plain coloured ones. I added some sprinkles on top. Also had to use a sandwich bag for piping as i cant seem to buy a good decent piping bag that lasts. Very nice! Grandkids love them,

WAs a little worried about it as it seemed so different to other recioes and was a tad grainy but turned out perfect and was easy to pipe. Thanks!!!

OMG. Have owned my TM for 5 years and this was the first time I have EVER had meringue work. Followed up the next night with a plain meringue/pavlova using the same recipe and it was fabulous. Thank you SO much. (I had too much colour/gel in my first ones so this took a bit of tweaking.)

Great recipe - very easy! I might have made my colour lines a little thicker than they should have been, some of my meringues came out looking like swirls of toothpaste! LMAO! But: the recipe is PERFECT - taste delicious and super easy! Well done!
I made in my TM31. Amazing.
I made in my TM31.
Amazing. Very different way than the 'normal' way I have made Meringues in the past..
Texture was still grainy, so thought they wouldn't turn out, but they did..
Thanks for the recipe!!
