Ingredients

6 slice(s)

French toast mixture

  • 4 eggs
  • 75 grams Milk
  • 15 grams Coconut sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Paste
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • pinch salt

French Toast

  • Butter, for frying
  • Maple syrup
  • 6 slices bread, (Thick Sliced is best)

Recipe's preparation

    French Toast Mixture
  1. Add all ingredients for mixture into Thermomix bowl. 

    Mix for 30 secs on Speed 4

    Put mixture into black base of Thermoserver (perfect size for dipping bread)

    Soak each piece of bread for 10-20 seconds

    Heat fry pan and add a small knob of butter for each piece of bread you are cooking. Cook until golden brown on each side.

    Enjoy with maple syurp.

    I liked this - I don't like sweet breakfasts so this was just enough for me. It did 5 pieces of helgas bread although maybe I soaked it for longer than I should have. Good way for me to get egg into my little one!

    I wanted to like this recipe, truly! But it was pretty bland to my taste- not sure if I am just used to a sweeter French toast though. I also found this recipe only covered 4 slices of Coles brand bread, which was annoying because I really needed the 6! Followed the recipe to a T so not sure why it could only make 4 slices.
