      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

Pumpkin Pie Smoothie - inspired by the IQS Pumpkin Snickerry Smoothie
  1. 1) put all ingredients in the TM bowl

    2) Blend for 1 minute on speed 9 (if pumpkin is frozen, if not blend for 20-30 seconds)

    3) Top with coconut, seeds or nuts as desired!

**Using frozen pumpkin will produce a thick, creamy, spoonable smoothie - like ice cream! using Unfrozen pumpkin will produce a drinkable smoothie

***I roast pumpkin in large batches (190 deg, 45 mins in the oven) and freeze in small batches ready to go in the morning

This wasn't too bad... Next time I won't add the cacoa as I found it took away from the pumpkin taste. I also added in a natural unflavoured protein powder and a little vanilla and stevia.
