I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
Tip
I make this for breakfast most mornings - I often need to feed 4 or 5 people (1 adult, & 3-4 kids). If serving 4 - they're generous portions. If serving 5 - I often serve with banana depending on our appetite.
You can half the recipe - simply decrease the cooking time by 20%. In saying that, it reheats well! I even like eating it cold!
We have a dairy free child & enjoy this made on water, but you can replace all or some of the water component with milk also.
If you enjoy almonds - add a handful with the apple!

TM 6
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Delicious, thanks! My kids usually like a little brown sugar sprinkled over their porridge, but this was sweet enough with the added fruit. Yum!

This is absolutely delicious, either warm or cold. Will definitely become a regular for my family!
Yum! Only recommendation is to stew the apples for a couple of minutes before adding oats.
