Bread

Hi Zada, haven't made it yet but the Easy Everyday White Bread that has just been posted should be worth a try. As soon as i get some bread improver (which i have never used before) i will be trying it.

yes Jenny you are right, the everday white bread is fantastic. give it a go. my other favourite is Meagans wonder bread (a lovely seeded bread) and my recipe for Ciabatta (slipper bread) is also a family favourite all on the community

Hi.  Try the Buttermilk Bread from the EDC. I just made butter so saved the buttermilk, and substituted 100g of the flour for 100g wheat which I had freshly milled until very fine.  Lovely golden colour, lovely flavour and toasts well too. The mix looks quite wet, but I set mine to prove in the thermoserver which I had prewarmed with some hot tap water, then did the second rise in the bread pan, wrapped in the thermomat as it was quite a cold day here.

Hi Zada.  Did you try the Easy Everyday White Bread recipe? We have been getting wonderful reviews.

I did the easy everyday white bread yesterday and it's amazing! Love it. More on the list for tonight.

I love the basic bread recipe from the EDC and use it frequently to make scrolls that my family just love...

The easy everday white bread was the first thing I made, it worked first time, light fluffy better than bought. Give it a try you wont be dissappointed
