Recipe's preparation
Pop pitted dates, seeds (and/or nuts), cinnamon and maple syrup into the mixing bowl and blitz for 20 seconds/speed 4.
Scoop the mixture out of the bowl using a spatula and shape into balls (slightly smaller than golf balls and/or tiny watermelons) between your palms. Use a bowl of water to keep your hands from getting too sticky.
Roll the balls in desiccated coconut or crushed nuts/seeds and allow to firm up in the fridge (if you can be patient enough).
Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.

MPW, You can try using fine salt - but I'd probably use less of it. Salt flakes tend to have a milder flavour than fine table salt (which can also be full of anti-caking agents).
