Recipe's preparation

    Cupcakes
  1. To make the cupcakes:

Preheat the oven to 180oC.  Line four cupcake pans with paper liners (48 total).  In the TM bowl , combine the butter and brown sugar.  Beat together on speed 5-6 for 20-30 seconds  until light and fluffy.  Mix in the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition and scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed.

Combine the flour, baking powder and baking soda  on speed 3, alternating with the milk, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients, mixing each addition just until incorporated.  Blend in the vanilla.  Add in the chocolate chips on reverse and speed 2.

Divide the batter evenly between the prepared cupcake liners.   Bake for 15 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.  Allow to cool in the pan 5-10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

  2. To make the cookie dough filling:

Combine the butter and sugar in a mixing bowl and cream on speed 4-5 for 20-40 seconds until light and fluffy.  Beat in the flour , sweetened condensed milk and vanilla on spped 4 until incorporated and smooth.  Stir in the chocolate chips on reverse and speed 1.  Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until the mixture has firmed up a bit, about an hour.

    To fill the cupcakes:

Cut a cone-shaped portion out of the center of each cupcake.  Fill each hole with a chunk of the chilled cookie dough mixture.

  3. Icing
  4. To make the icing:

Beat together the butter and brown sugar in the TM bowl for 20-40 seconds on speed 5-6 until creamy.  Mix in the icing sugar on speed 5-6 until smooth.  Beat in the flour, milk and vanilla extract on speed 5-6 until smooth and well blended.

     For decoration:

    Tiny chocolate chip cookies

Ice the filled cupcakes as desired and top with mini chocolate chip cookies for decoration.

  • Cute, but way too

    Submitted by Natasha77 on 6. August 2016 - 10:55.

    Cute, but way too sweet!

Instructions incomplete so had to wing it in some parts (in terms of times)

They were time consuming to make (a lot longer than the 25 mins indicated), but did look impressive.

These were too sickly sweet for us to eat after all that effort put into them, which was sad.

  • I made these for my sons

    Submitted by shayne m on 18. February 2015 - 09:39.

I made these for my sons birthday.  They were absolutely delicious.  I have never had cookie dough icing before, but it was definitely a winner! BTW the recipie is a conversion to Thermomix of a recipe that is already on the internet.  In that recipe it was equal amounts of baking soda, and baking powder.

  • Really good cupcakes. I

    Submitted by Anabenson on 14. October 2013 - 21:30.

Really good cupcakes. I halved recipe and made 12 standard size cakes, but had lots of spare icing , so have freezed it for next time. Also added a half espresso shot to icing and it went so well with cupcakes. With spare cookie dough (also had lots left) I made biscits out of them, cooked in oven for about ten mins. Really yommy. Thanks .

  • I didn't make the cupcakes,

    Submitted by Lynn k on 29. January 2012 - 17:16.

tmrc_emoticons.) I didn't make the cupcakes, but I made the choc chip cookie dough and stirred it through home made vanilla bean icecream (trying to see if I could do something like Ben and Jerry's choc chip cookie dough ice cream) and it worked fantastically.  A lot of the dough got eaten before it got put in the icecream, though!

    Thanks for the idea!
