Ingredients
20 portion(s)
Energy Balls
- 50 g oats (rolled)
- 80 g dried apples, I used dried apple slices
- 90 g pitted dates
- ground cinnamon, to taste
Recipe's preparation
Mix 30 secs, speed 7.
Mixture will appear crumbly.
With clean hands, roll small amount of mixture between your hands to form balls. You can make the balls as big or small as you wish.
Energy balls are ready to eat. I usually pop them into the fridge for 5 minutes before serving, but you don't need to do this.

Tip
You can add other dried fruit - I add some dried apricots to this particular mixture.
If you can't tolerate oats, you could replace them with shredded coconut.

Really easy and tasty. I added 15g of coconut oil and a dash of maple syrup to hold them together - I used dried dates. Rolled some in shredded coconut and some with white chocolate chips. Thank you!

I've made these a number of times now and they are great! I found I needed to add some coconut oil when using dried dates as the mixture was too crumbly to stick together. But I have just made a batch using Medjool dates instead and the mixture is perfect. Will be using medjool dates from now on!
