Recipe's preparation
Place 80g medjool dates in jug and chop 8 seconds / speed 10
Add 1 banana (roughly 120g) and mash for 5 seconds / speed 4.
Add milk, chia seeds and corn flour then cook for 6 minutes / 90 degrees / speed 4.

Have made this custard quite a few times now for my dairy and egg free baby. She loves it. I do only put half the dates though as they are quite sweet, and minus all chia seeds and cornflour. I think it is already thick enough.

Yum! I tried it without corn
Yum! I tried it without corn flour and after found that the chia seed thickened it enough for my liking after sitting for a bit. I halved the dates but I think I'll leave them out next time - the banana (quite ripe) would have been sweet enough for me. Great combo though! Very tasty!
