Date and Nut Balls

  • 100 grams walnuts
  • 100 grams Cashews
  • 100 grams almonds
  • 50 grams rolled oats
  • 100 grams dried apricots
  • 150 grams pitted dates
  • 100 grams pitted prunes
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 level teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 30 grams honey
  • 90 grams Desiccated Coconut

Recipe's preparation

    Date and Nut Balls
  1. Place walnuts, cashew and almonds in TM Bowl at Veroma Temperature speed 1 for 10 minutes

    Pulse until finely chopped

    Set aside

    Place apricots, dates and prunes into TM Bowl andClosed lid Pulse until chopped

    Add nuts and remaining ingredients . Put dial to speed 4 for 1 minute..until it forms a paste

    Use moisened hands and make into balls and then roll in coconut.

    You can make them what ever size you like.

    My thermo was full to nearly the brim, mixed but not well, so I halved mixture and it worked really well! Yummy, will make again, maybe as a slice (great idea) thanks!

    Excellent date and nut balls. To save time, the mixture was firmly pressed into a slice tray and then refrigerated for 5 hours, before being sliced into small squares. Will make again.

  • I used 300g raw nuts: 75g

    I used 300g raw nuts: 75g each raw almonds, Brazil nuts, cashews and walnuts. I also used 90g shredded coconut mixed into the mix... (Not to roll balls in) I made 60 balls and dipped bottom half of each into 200 g Aldi organic dark choc... melted in TM at 32* for 5 min after pulsing to grate first.... I placed each choc dipped ball into a patty paper and spooned chock over each once rolled and dipped Cooking 7
