Healthy Raw Cacao Slice

Ingredients

BASE

  • 145 grams Almonds (raw), soaked for 2 hrs
  • 40 grams coconut oil
  • 15 grams Cacao (Raw)
  • 40 grams Maple Syrup (pure)
  • 10 grams chia seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

TOPPING

  • 60 grams coconut oil
  • 160 grams Cashews (raw), soaked for 2 hrs
  • 20 grams Cacao (Raw)
  • 50 grams tahini or nut butter
  • 40 grams Maple Syrup (pure)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Recipe's preparation

  1. Line a square baking tray with baking paper

    Add all base ingredients into bowl

    15 seconds, speed 9

    Scrape down sides of bowl 

    15 seconds, speed 5

    Scrape mixture into prepared baking tray and press down firmly with the back of a large spoon.  Put baking paper on top if too sticky

    Place tray into the freezer whilst you make the topping

    Weigh in the coconut oil, melt 1 minute, 37 deg, if oil is hard

    Add the rest of the topping ingredients

    30 seconds, speed 9, scrape down sides of bowl

    30 seconds, spped 9

    Spread topping over the base, sprinkle with desiccated coconut and return to freezer for 30 minutes.

    Slice into 18 pieces or more and Enjoy!
