This time-out I put in 6 myer lemons which equalled to 545g of juice. The cheesecake didn't set. Whilst it was still yummy it wasn't suitable fir a party.

Definitely keeping this recipe with my adjustments below.

Biscuit base I done 150gm butter and the lemons I did 4 which equalled to 300g of juice. I have a Myer Lemon tree that produces very large juicy lemons.

I used the largest spring form pan I have which is around 35cm diameter. I put the crumb along the bottom and sides of the cake, the filling I thought might be to much but it wasn't. It was perfect!

A definite keeper for future gatherings when my tree is blooming with lemons like it is today.

    Submitted by Jenkinf@live.com.au on 18. December 2018 - 20:43.

My cheese cake is currently setting in the fridge. I used 200g of lemon which was about 5 lemons and that was the perfect amount for us.
When I put the base mixture into my 20cm round cake tin it took up half the tin. So I spread it all the way up the sides. The cheesecake mixture didn't quite all fit in our tin but the family was happy to finish the bowl of left overs! 😂
Delish easy recipe. Can't wait to eat it tomorrow!

This is so yummy, it's now my families favourite dessert. I halve the base recipe as I find it too thick & goes very hard. Halving the recipe is the perfect base for us. I decorate with a few strawberries.

Waiting for it to set but so far it tastes great, I did notice that I had alot of base mixture so, as I had another springform pan, I have made two cakes, one of them I added blueberrys and have frozen the other for later

I also halved the recipe, and did cheat a little using lemon juice instead of fresh lemons. However I used 'mcvities' digestives for the base, for a typically traditional English cheese cake Big Smile. Absolutely beautiful!!

  • I made this while on holidays

    Submitted by Patchy22 on 29. December 2015 - 19:25.

I made this while on holidays today, very easy, convenient with only a few ingredients needed and got great reviews from my friends! I used one packet of Marie biscuits with about 150g butter. Then halved all other ingredients. Made it a big rectangle casserole dish. Easily served 10 people. ate it 5 hours after I made and was set perfectly.

Flavours were great but even though I followed recipe, didn't set properly, even after leaving overnight. Going to make it again though and perhaps try halving to see if that helps.

Yummy!!! comments from family include, yummy, fantastic and Best ever. i think the biscuits need to be cut first then add melted butter and recipe could be halved unless you plan to make one giant cake. I had a 20cm pan and also made a few other mini cheesecakes. Lovely to make and easy to eat! tmrc_emoticons.)
