Ingredients

Sorbet

  • 100g sugar
  • 1kg ice
  • 100g limoncello liquer, (or to taste)
  • 350g lemons, zest & flesh (no pith)
  • egg white optional

Recipe's preparation

    Sorbet
  1. Place sugar & zest into TM bowl & process for 10 - 20secs speed 10. 

    Add limoncello & lemon flesh (& egg white if using) blitz for 5 secs speed 10. Add the ice & chop for 1min 30 secs on speed 10 stiring with the spatula if needed.

    I just made this a day in advance and it freezes very well... being sorbet it is rather hard initially but perfectly scoopable after a couple of minutes at room temperature.  i added egg white to try to freeze more bubbles in the mix and it seemed to work!

    Thanks for this lovely lemony recipe; goes very well with blueberries and white chocolate btw tmrc_emoticons.;)
