I didn’t have sunflower seeds so swapped with pumpkin seeds and oats in step one.
i also can’t be stuffed rolling, so flatten in a small tin with baking paper with coconut top and bottom. Set in fridge, then cut and freeze in small bars #lazyhack

We love these bliss balls - they're our go to recipe for the kids (and mine) lunchboxes or afternoon tea. I sometimes add a few drops of peppermint or orange food grade essential oil to the cacao to change the flavour. I've also used chocolate protein powder in place of the cacao/cocoa and it tastes great too. They're also popular at work when we have a shared morning tea. Thanks for sharing!

I left out the honey and coconut oil and also didn't roll them in desiccated coconut as I prefer without. Also had to substitute cranberries for the apricots as I'd run out. So yummy!

These are a big hit in our house! My kids find raisins in bliss balls a bit too rich so I used 150g dates/75g dried apricots instead and also 2 heaped tablespoons of cacao. Delicious!

Great nut free recipe. I
Great nut free recipe. I substituted Figs instead of raisins, and added 2tbsp cacao, and a generous splash of vanilla essence.
If you're like me and hate rolling all those balls, try this... I pour the mixture onto a large sheet of glad wrap (cling film), then squish it together into a long roll, wrapping the cling film around the log and rolling with my hands. Once it's rolled, I open up the cling film and sprinkle some coconut along the log, rolling it to cover the log. Once covered in coconut, close the clingfilm (to prevent drying) and pop on a tray into the fridge. When firm, unwrap and simply slice Up into 'disc' shapes and freeze! Once you master this technique you'll never roll balls again!

Thought I'd try these for a healthy treat for the kids. Not quite as nice as normal chocolate balls, but a sweet healthy alternative. One of my kids loved them, the other thought a bit rich fruity tasting. I might use this as a base and try again with less fruit and more nuts. Thanks for a quick simple recipe though!

Easy to make & easy to eat. I loved these. I used medjool dates the first time & much preferred it with dried, pitted dates the second time & a very large spoon of cacao powder (equivalent of 2 heaped tbs) for more chocolatey flavour!
