Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Made this today....wow! Love it. Beautiful flavour. I accidentally missed the step to set sugar aside so blitzed my chocolate in with the sugar and just kept going. 10 hours later I’ve tried cutting it into pieces. It’s incredibly sticky so a bit tricky to cut as it’s sticking to everything. I’m guessing it hasn’t set properly. Could that possibly be due to the chocolate cooking with everything?
Flavour is amazing though so will definitely try again and this time reduce the sugar to the 50g suggested by others.
Lastly, just wondering what size tin other people used please? I used a square tin 5cm (H) x 24.5cm (W) x 24.5cm (D) and the end result was much smaller in height than in the picture. More like 1.5-2cm high. Very flat looking!
Thanks for a fabulous and easy recipe.

Fantastic recipe! I have never strayed from my trusted TM fudge recipe so I'm estatic that this fudge tastes amazing, texture is perfect and it pours easier, sets quicker and is very easy to cut. I was sceptical that the MC was left in too. I took advice of others and reduced sugar to 70g. I have a real sweet tooth and this was more than enough for me. I will reduce to 50g next time. I also mixed in biscuits on speed 3 like another user suggeted which left me with a mix of crumbs through the fudge and a few chunky pieces. Looking forward to trying some other variations.

This is our family's new fave
This is our family's new fave fudge recipe! Have made it a couple of times & it is quick, no stirring, and sets consistently every time. We use the cheap $2.50 coles/ woolworths cooking chocolate buttons (375g pkt) & it sets well. I was a bit sceptical of it working with the MC on the whole cooking time but it works fine. I also mix the biscuits in at the end on speed 3 so it doesnt blitz the biscuits too much. Definitely recommend!
Delicious Recipe. However

Really yum. Made it twice. First time it set well, 2nd time it didn't. I wonder if the brand of condensed milk makes a difference. That was the only difference.
