Sooo good! Thanks heaps for the recipe! I used half almonds and half cashews and used reverse speed when mixing and they turned out great. Also rolled them in seaseme seeds instead of coconut.

love these - been making them for a couple of years. Have just started omitting the chia seeds, and I think they taste better (if not quite so healthy). I also use a bit less coconut oil, but otherwise the same as in the recipe. Thanks so much for the recipe.

These are the bomb! Made them many times, don’t need to change a thing. I think their simplicity makes them some of the nicer bliss balls I’ve tried.

Just made these. Fantastic.
Almond allergy in our house so I substituted a combination of (mostly) cashew nuts and (less) sunflower seeds.
I also swapped some of the coconut oil for raw honey, and used flax seeds instead of chia seeds.
Worked really well, and delicious.
I doubled the mixture.
For the comments about the desicated coconut - I put the listed amount in the mixture, then used extra for rolling onto the outside of the balls. It worked well.
Thanks for the awesome recipe.

Is it possibley you used cOcOA powder instead of cAcAO powder? That would make them bitter

I found these to be quite bitter - not sweet at all! So disappointed as the kids won't touch them now. I'm wondering if majool dates might be sweeter? Might try again and reduce the cacao and add some honey or something???

These are probably the best
These are probably the best bliss balls I've tried so far. I love that they have a rich, chocolatey flavour.
Just loved these, they were
Just loved these, they were so yummy! However, my husband and I became sick and after Googling have come to the conclusion that chia seeds were the cause, It is a food that apparently needs soaking before being used, so if you have a reaction this is most likely the cause.
That no way takes away from the recipe, but just be aware some folks can have a reaction to these seeds. I'll still keep making them but will replace them or leave them out.
