  • 60 grams sugar
  • 1 vanilla bean, snipped into 4
  • 300 grams tinned pears
  • 1 egg white, (optional)
  • 350 grams frozen pear juice, from strained tinned pears
  • 350 grams ice cubes

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place vanilla bean and sugar in TMX bowl and blitz 10secs/speed 10

  2. Add pears, egg white and frozen pear juice and blend 20secs/speed 10, gradually increasing speed from 1 to 10.

  3. Add remaining ice and blend for a further 1 min/speed 10, using spatula to assist.

This sorbet is a fabulous texture and it goes fantastically well with chocolate ..... enjoy!

    Amazing!!!! I used tinned pears in syrup & froze the syrup. Yummiest sorbet recipe!!!

    This was delicious! I used fresh pears and didn't have any syrup to freeze so just used all ice. It worked a treat, was creamy and delicious. Thank you.
