Pistachio and Cranberry Chocolate Rounds

Ingredients

15 portion(s)

  • 40 grams pistachio nuts, shells removed
  • 40 grams dried cranberries
  • 250 grams dark chocolate, broken
  • pinch good quality sea salt flakes

Recipe's preparation

  1. Mill Pistachios for 3 seconds on SP5. Set aside and wipe out bowl.

    Grate chocolate for 10 seconds on SP8.

    Melt chocolate for 2 mins, at 50 ℃ SP3.

    Use a dessert spoon to spoon melted chocolate onto baking tray or silicon macaroon mat and shape into circles. 

    Sprinkle circles with pistachios and cranberries taking care to gently push them into the chocolate so they stick well, but are not covered by chocolate.

    Sprinkle lightly with sea salt and leave to set.

    These look very fancy and taste great, easy to make but definitely did not require the amount of pistachios stated - 15g was plenty.  tmrc_emoticons.)

    Very easy to make. Would recommend a good quality chocolate be selected. Need to make a double batch next time. Very morish.

    Made a batch using white chocolate as well.  Easy to make and looks impressive.  Used the dregs in thermie and made a hot chocolate.
