Violet Crumble Slice

Ingredients

condensed milk

  • 80 grams water
  • 150 gram white sugar
  • 90 gram Butter, home made is nice
  • 110 grams Dry Milk Powder, full cream

Slice

  • 1 package Arnotts Malt-O-Milk Biscuits
  • 4 Full Size Violet Crumble Bars
  • 300 mls thickened cream
  • 300 g Serve of EDC Vanilla Custard, Cooled and set

Recipe's preparation

    Condensed Milk
  1. Put butterfly into TM bowl

    Put all Condensed Milk Ingredients into TM bowl and mix 6 mins / 90 degrees / speed 4 

    Place in a seperate Bowl and Allow to Cool.

    Make 1/2 serve of EDC Vanilla Custard.  Set aside and allow to cool

  2. Making the Slice
  3. Once Custard and Condensed Milk have cooled proceed with slice.

    Line two slice trays with Baking Paper.  Line trays with Biscuits.  Set aside.

    Add the Violet Crumbles to TM Bowl, close lid and with MC in position. Press Turbo for one second at a time until Chocolate bars have broken down into rough chunks.  Set aside.

    Place Cream into Bowl, Add butterfly and whip on speed 3-4 until firm peaks form.

    Add condensed milk and custard to TM Bowl.  Continue to whip at speed 3-4 until firm.

    Add 3/4 of the Violet Crumble Pieces.  Mix on speed 2 for 10 seconds.

    Pour mixture over biscuit bases.  Top with remaining violet crumble pieces.

    Place into freezer until set.  (overnight is best).

    Cut into pieces and serve.

    Enjoy !

Tip

If you don't want to make your own Condensed Milk. You can substitue this step with a tin of Nestle Sweetened Condensed Milk.  (but seriously make your own - it's awesome!)

    when I mix my cream with my condensed milk and custard (which are both thick) it turns the mixture to liquid and never a firms!  What am I doing wrong???
