Slice

  • 3 Weetbix
  • 150 g Self Raising Flour
  • 15 g cocoa
  • 60 g Coconut
  • 150 g Butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 25 g golden syrup
  • 80 g raw sugar
  • pinch salt

Icing

  • 140 g icing sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa
  • 20 g Butter
  • 1 tablespoon Water.

Recipe's preparation

    Base
  1. 1.  Preheat oven to 180 deg. Lightly grease and line a slice pan.

    2. Weigh weetbix, SR Flour, Cocoa, coconut and salt in bowl and mix for 5 seconds, speed 5.  Set aside

    3. Melt butter, sugar, golden syrup and vanilla 2 minutes, 90deg, speed 3

    4. Add dry ingredients to bowl and mix 10 secs, speed 3, scrape down sides and repeat if necessary.

    5 Press mixture into pan and bake for 15 minutes

  2. Icing
  3. Add all ingredients into bowl.

    Cook for 1.5 mins, 70 deg, speed 3

    Spread icing over cooled base and sprinkle with hundreds and thousands.

    Set in fridge, then cut into squares

Tip

More water can be added to the icing sugar mix depending on how runny you like it.

    We used honey instead of golden syrup and it still turned out amazing. My 11 year old son made this. Delicious

    Just made this with GF weetbix and Gf flour so hopefully it's ok. The icing was really thick too and not pourable so heated it for longer and added more water. Also didn't add sprinkles as there not gluten free.
