I have experimented with a few champagnes and have found strawberry Trevi the best. It keeps lots of bubbles and has a lovely berry taste.

  • Thats  a great idea

Thats  a great idea Rasberryz. I sometimes do this if Im using it for a lot of people. I can pour the cranberry Lime mixture into a jug and then  let peopl pour into glasses and top with Champagne. I have been adding a whole (skin and pith removed) lime lately and find it gives it even more zing and is a good balance with the cranberries.

    Submitted by raspberryz on 26. January 2013 - 10:30.

I love this recipe. I too was not able to put in a whole bottle of champers in so I have tweaked the recipe and just followed step 1, then I simply just add all the cranberry juice ( i buy the raspberry cranberry juice which is just over a litre) swish it around then pour it back in to the cranberry bottle.  I then have a mix which is portable to take to parties, pour into a glass with champagne and enjoy.  My 11 y/o loves the cranberry mix on its own and mixed with lemonade.  Very refreshing and flavoursome. Thanks CathyM for a lovely recipe

  •  I put a whole 750 ml bottle

    Submitted by CathyM on 22. October 2012 - 14:48.

I put a whole 750 ml bottle but just waited for the bubbles to settle before pouring it in.

You could cut down the Cranberry juice if you like.
