Sangria
- 150 g castor sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon, ground
- 60 g brandy
- Juice of 2 oranges
- Juice of 2 lemons
- 50 g water
- 2 oranges, thinly sliced
- 2 lemons, thinly slices
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 Pink Lady apple, cubed or sliced thinly
- 750 g red wine, (preferably Spanish)
- 750 g ginger beer, lemonade or soda water
- ice, as required
- Sprigs of fresh mint, to garnish

Recipe's preparation
Place castor sugar, cinnamon, brandy, citrus juices and water into mixing bowl and cook 5 min/80C/speed 1
Pour cooked liquid into a container with orange & lemon slices, apple and cinnamon stick. Refrigerate overnight (or for a few hours at least).
Pour into a large jug or punch bowl, add remaining ingredients and garnish with mint to serve.
