Recipe's preparation
Slice off both ends of the fruit so that there is no pith showing.
Stand up the fruit and slice into quarters, leaving the skin on, and place into the TM bowl.
Add water until it reaches the 1 litre mark.
Place lid and MC on TM bowl and press the and hold the turbo 3 times, for 1 second each time or until fruit is evenly chopped to a fine consistency. Because of the volume of liquid, be aware of splashing out of MC - you may like to place a washcloth over the MC!
Place internal simmer basket into TM Bowl and strain juice into another TM bowl or a large bowl/jug, taking care to get out as much liquid as possible. Remove and dispose of pulp, then return strained juice to TM bowl.
Add the sugar only and heat 5 min, 90 degrees, sp 2.
Once the 5 min is complete, add the Citric Acid and mix 5 sec, sp 4.
Pour into a sterilised bottle and keep in refrigerator - keeps fresh for around 1 month - remember to dilute 1 (cordial) :5 (water) to serve!

Love love love this orange cordial especially with soda water. I also used the pulp into the 30 second orange cake adding lemon juice to balance it out. Also added sultanas to 1/2 the mixture and choc chips to'otherm1/2. Cooked in my smaller loaf tins and they went down a treat.
Very nice, great way to use up oranges!...
Very nice, great way to use up oranges!
I made muffins with some of the left overs https://www.recipecommunity.com.au/baking-sweet-recipes/30-second-whole-orange-cake/7x9icm1a-e8d6d-793218-cfcd2-kg02zb7k
I used 230g of the orange waste however next time I will use less and blitz a bit more so the orange rind bits aren't as chunky. I also cut sugar to 160g and added the juice of an orange to soften the mixture a bit more. I only had 2 eggs so used 250g of butter. Bake 160d fan forces 16 minutes (my oven is very hot).
These were lovely and moist however very orange especially with the chunky rind hence the reason I will use less next time and blitz a bit more. (Note: Mixture is very thick, I had to spoon into muffin holders).
