Super easy and delicious. I was making 5 salmon portions - they all fit (just) on the top tray of the varoma, and were still perfectly cooked in 15 minutes. I did carrots and asparagus on the bottom of the varoma, only adding the asparagus for the last 3 minutes of cooking.

  • Delicious outcome. I combined

    Submitted by Maida on 6. May 2016 - 19:30.

Delicious outcome. I combined this with a leek, sweet potato soup in the bowl and vegetables in the middle tray. I took out the vegetables and kept them warm with fish in the thermo server while having soup. A lovely meal and so healthy.  tmrc_emoticons.)

This time I made a paste of one ts each of mustard and horseraddish and dill paste from the tube. I had beans in the basket and carrots and zuchinni in the dish with the fish in the tray on glad paper. All cooked in 17 minutes and was delicious.

  • This was really yummy!  I

This was really yummy!  I used wholegrain mustard and dill and put it on the top of varoma with wet baking paper underneath it so the juices didn't go onto the veggies below. Worked great but may do it a bit less than 15 mins next time as we like our salmon less done. Great recipe and will try other varieties too.

  • Perfectly cooked every time.

Perfectly cooked every time. I cook vegies on bottom tray as the liquid can make the salmon soggy

So simple and quick. Cooked perfectly in 15 mins. I don't cook seafood and this was my first use of the varoma for something other than eggs and vegetables. Thank you.

    Submitted by mixing_liv on 24. June 2014 - 19:05.

This recipe inspired me to use my varoma for the first time with great success. I served the salmon with steamed carrots, cellery and potato and enjoyed every bite.  I had never even had steamed fish before, I've always pan fried it. Will do my waistline good and so easy for a quick weeknight dinner tmrc_emoticons.)

    Thank you tmrc_emoticons.)

Just made this for my Valentine for lunch - was awesome and so easy. Looking forward to trying  different flavour combinations on the salmon. I used 2 salmon portions from ikea and found that 15 minutes cooking time was bang on perfect and veggies cooked lovely too. Will be making this healthy meal often, thanks Sara!
