Lovely dish although I thought it overcooked the prawns. I put in a whole bulb of garlic (it was about 11 cloves) but I think it needed more.

great idea to put some veges on the plate with it. I also did coconut rice in the thermo beforehand. Great together.

Extremely tasty and yummy dish!! So simple and easy. I used green (uncooked) Australian prawns. I love a robust garlic and chilli sauce, so doubled both. Chopped lots of parsley to sprinkle over the finished garlic prawns and rice on serving. Thanks so much for a steller dish.

Submitted by Elsies chaos on 21. August 2014 - 13:02.

    Easy, brilliant and scrumptious!

I also adjusted to 5 garlic gloves and one onion. We had loads of sauce left so if your stuck, it won't hurt to reduce the amount of cream a little.

husband and son loved it, such a quick easy mid week dinner, Ms 5, despite requesting prawns wasn't a fan, but was v, easy to give her prawns and rice with marierose sauce. This is a keeper. we served with rice, suger snap peas and griddled zucchini.

    Submitted by Kirrilly on 20. July 2014 - 11:39.

First time I've ever made (and maybe, eaten) garlic prawns = 4 thumbs up from all the adults, 1 x 3yr thought the sauce was magic on rice (no prawns).

I put some cornflour in at the end (after putting the prawns in a ThermoServer) and cooked for another 1 1/2 minutes or so to thicken the sauce.

    Yummo!
