Sauce was inedible. Way too sour even with only 75g of lemon juice. Dory was floury so won't use that again either. Very disappointing recipe.

We are trying to make the change to eating more fish.  I have very limited experience with choosing fish so I bought the only one I really knew not to be too fishy and that was barramundi...the plate was empty...two growing boys and one fussy daughter and it was all gone!  It's a winner in our house.  My sauce was quite green so I am guessing I was a bit heavy handed with the parsley.

  • Not sure what I did wrong.

    Submitted by cozzachappy on 8. January 2015 - 22:12.

Not sure what I did wrong. But i steamed vegies as well. And when it had finished the sauce was a browny yellowy colour so i added 20g cornflour and mixed 5 mins and still not much change, so i put some thick cream in it, still not really thick. I had to dish up because everything was going cold and the sauce was OMG soooo lemony that is was gross. So this did not work for me.

I loved this! I only used the juice of 1 lemon though, and it was tangy enough for me. the juice was 45g. I also cooked veggies in the basket and they were delicious! I used basa, but I think I over cooked it as it was a bit dry. It might only need 10/15mins. I loved that it was an all in one meal. So easy! Thank you!

Yummy! One of the best fish dishes I have ever eaten.  Fussy 9 year old non fish eater in the family devoured it asking if we can have fish again tomorrow.

  • I tried this dish last

I tried this dish last night.  It was a great hit.  I used bassa fillets.  The sauce is just so tangy and refreshing.  It would also go well with chichen.  Fantastic and highly recommended. tmrc_emoticons.)

Yum. I used Basa fish and the TM Vegetable Stock Concentrate instead of stock cubes and 30g of rice flour - the sauce was quite watery before I added the flour. I steamed some veggies in the lower basket and so my favourite kitchen appliance cooked our whole meal!  Big Smile
