  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 cm Ginger, peeled
  • 1 red chili
  • 1 tbsp peanut oil
  • 500 g Beef, stir fry quality
  • 1 onion
  • 1 carrot, Juliened
  • 1 Capsicum, Thinly sliced
  • 4 mushrooms, Thinly Sliced
  • 2 spring onions, Thinly sliced

Sauce

  • 1 tbsp Black Bean Sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp cornflour
  • 100 g water
  • 1 tsp TM Vegetable or Chicken Stock

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Beef with Black Bean
  1. Prepare Vegetables & meat

     

    Chop Garlic, Ginger and chilli 3 seconds/speed 7

     

    Add Oil, Beef, Onion and cook 4 min/120`C/Counter-clockwise operation/speed 1

     

    Add Carrot, Capsicum, Mushrooms and cook 3 min/Varoma/Counter-clockwise operation/speed 1

     

    Add remaining ingredients (Black Bean sauce, Soy Sauce, Cornflour, Stock, Spring onion and water) and cook 2 min/100`C/Counter-clockwise operation/speed 1

     

    Pour into Thermoserver and stir through spring onion

     

    Serve with Rice or rice noodles

     

     

    Note: You can replace Chilli with 1 Tbls Chilli Sauce

Tip

If you are serving wth rice noodles, then place noodles into thermoserver, pour boiling water over noodles, cover and allow to sit while cooking stir fry.
