Family oved it. Will add a little less chilli because my kids don't like it to hot. Next time I will see if I can make it with 1kg of mince.

The family LOVED this recipe! It was SUPER tasty. I used the Varoma to steam the mince instead of the basket, as we are a larger family and needed over 1kg. Definitely will be a favourite!

I love this recipe! I've made it twice now and enjoyed it both times. The second time I omitted the cinammon and did prefer it a tad. Thanks for sharing our new go to bolognese!

Can the instructions be changed to ensure the stpick is added into the sauce. The recipe instructions state to add all the herbs / spices and cinnamon but do not mention the addition of stock At all. My sauce will not be as nice

Was nice! It was very different to the traditional spaghetti I used to make on the stove but we love it. My toddler ate it all so I was impressed. I used real onion and garlic and sauteed first like another person suggested and it worked great. Mince was delicious. Thanks for the recipe!

Great idea with cooking with mince. I'm a saucepan simmer bolognase type of gal, made this last night when camping, worked a treat even when I forgot my spatula!!! Didn't follow the ingredients just the method as only had my ingredients for my usual spag Bol on hand. Had 1 kg of mince so had to lower speed to 2 otherwise would have made a mess but I just have to genius idea with the mince would never of thought, possibilities are endless now. Thank you!!

Love this bolognese, even Miss 6 loves it as no vegetables, although I add mushrooms, etc but they desintergrate into sauce I usually use turkey mince, good with turkey or beef though.
You've restored my faith in
You've restored my faith in using the Thermomix for mince! I used only 500g mince and also sauteed onion, carrot and garlic first and it was still very chunky. Thank you.

Not a huge fan of bolognese but this one is actually delicious and the family love it too!
I made this last night and
I made this last night and happy to have found a delicious recipe that keeps the meat chunky! Have tried a few versions and always preferred the stove top method until now. Tasty and loved the touch of chilli. Hubby is not a big fan of spice but enjoyed this version too Made small variations by sautéing onion and garlic together (instead of powder), added tinned tomatoes and tbl tom paste and some extra veg (carrot, capsicum and zucchini).
Love this method! Saves all
Love this method! Saves all the mince getting mushed up and the flavour is great. I sometimes just use a jar of sauce and some passata or follow it to the letter of I have everything on hand. Thanks!

Nice but I found it a tad
Nice but I found it a tad dry. Will use more water next time and will add vegies aswell. I used garlic and onion rather than powder.
Used this method and it
Used this method and it turned out fantastic (added my own variation of herbs etc and added a squirt of tomato paste)
I also just tipped the mince into the bowl and gave it a little whiz on reverse rather than putting it in the thermoserver.
Thanks for a great recipe!
Didn't like this I'm afraid.
Didn't like this I'm afraid. I made it and froze it 'for later'. When I defrosted it the sauce had been fully absorbed by the meat - it ended up being very dry and quite tasteless. Given all the positive comments it was probably something I did wrong but I won't be making this again.

Delicious!! Bolagnase was one
Delicious!! Bolagnase was one of my dishes that I preferred on the stove but this is delicious!! Yum. Also I added fresh onion and garlic sauted at the beginning instead of the powder.
We really enjoyed this
We really enjoyed this recipe. Usually Bolognese sauce is a three hour production with me - simmer ... simmmer ... simmer.... so I am thriled that this 30 min recipe has surfaced. Thank you! Like those who have posted earlier, I sauteed onion, carrot and even added half a red capsicum as well, as a result the bowl was very full but the Thermomix is tough and it handled it. I enjoyed the cinnamon in this recipe as it gave it a nice little boost. I'm always on the look out for good recipes that only take 30mins - this recipe has definitely made it onto my weekday menu list.
This is wicked! I changed it
This is wicked! I changed it to suit me (fresh onion garlic carrot celery sauteed), and also used canned tomatoes instead of the sago, fab!!! Tip with cookin the mince like this is great.
Have just made this for
Have just made this for dinner tonight and had a taste test, YUM!!! best bolognese ever.......not usually a big fan of spag bog but this one will be a regular this winter, and an interesting recipe, I haven't cooked mince like that before. I also chopped and sautéed garlic and onion before I started as I don't have the powder. Thank you skinnymixer!
