Tip
When cooking curry with the butterfly, please note your butterfly may become discoloured. I find using the butterfly prevents shredding of the chicken.

Not sure if I did something wrong but I needed to do a lot of tweaking. Needed at least double the amount of stock paste, more cooking time (rice was still a bit crunchy and carrots needed a lot longer) and there was too much in the bowl to cook evenly. I like the concept of this dish but the recipe didn’t work well for me.

The Fam bam love this recipe.
The Fam bam love this recipe. I found however though, when we have left over snags from a sausage sizzle, and mix them through the rissotto at the end, it is even better! Best ever curried snags and rice. don't get me wrong, it is great with the chicken, but my family loves it with sausages
Made this last night. Carrot
Made this last night. Carrot & capsicum (step 2) did need a bit of extra time. I didn't used the butterfly as I was quite happy for the chicken to be shredded.

I would assume the the chicken would shred a little bit too much without using the butterfly! It's a shame when it turns green, but it still does the same job
