Taste so good..only used 1tablespoon of curry powder Smile

Winner, loved this recipe, thank you!  I used chicken stock paste (that's what I had in the fridge), chopped the vegetables in Thermie and not by hand and added shredded coconut when I added the peas and sultanas. I used thin sausages and had to cook the rice for an extra 10 minutes. Very tasty, will be making this again.  Smile

Hi. I plan on making this tomorrow night. I have a kg of sausages and would like to use them all and freeze leftovers. I noticed that the original reciepe said that the TM is filled to capacity so don't double ingredients but that other people have said that they have doubled? Did this work? Sorry, a little confused!! I will be having it with left over mash so won't be cooking rice. Thanks!

Smile yum! The whole family loves this meal. I just use jasmine rice and double the quantity. We normally eat this meal two nights in a row as it makes so much (2 adults & 3 children).

Thank you for this super easy and delicious recipe. All 5 in my family loved it <3

This recipe is delish.  I doubled the snags and it made enough to feed my family of 5 for two nights with rice

I loved this recipe. I had left over cooked sausages from a BBQ we added towards the end of cooking simply to warm through, absolutely delicious Love  Party Cooking

This is now my one and only curried sausages recipe!  my husband was a bit sceptical about the sausages being steamed but he loved it!

I have never really been a fan of curried sausages but my partner always requests them so I was glad to find a recipe I actually like. I cooked the sausages under the grill instead of steaming and used our rice cooker which saved time and worked well

Delicious and simple!

Thanks for your recipe, Faffa.  When someone asked me at a demo last night, whether the Thermomix could cook Curried Sausages, I knew straight where to come to find your recipe to send on.  :D  Thanks for sharing your experience.

I tried this last night with left over sausages from BBQ day before, so yummy and so easy.  Everyone came back for seconds including the kids!

This is a total winner for our family - thanks Big smile

Thanks Faffa... We all thoroughly enjoyed this meal... Only trouble I had was, I had to repeat the 10 mins cooking time 3 times until the carrots were cooked.. I took Juzzy's advice & cut the carrots very fine as well, so not sure why it took so long, especially if yours was ok after just 10 mins... Nevermind, they were so tasty... Will definitely be cooking these again... Thanks

Made this with thin beef sausages and they ended up a bit minced, will try with thick next time since it is a lovely recipe.

This was really nice however I cooked mashed potato instead of rice and as I wasn't sure if I could cook potatoes on varoma the sausages didn't cook. I actually have two thermomix's thank goodness ( feed up to 13 people)  and even using two I struggled. In the end I put finished potato in server, reheated water to finish steaming sausages , did the gravy in the other thermo then threw sausages and gravy into a big casserole pot to mix up. Was really yummy I thought.  Smile took me a lt longer than I anticipated .

Great recipe Thanks for sharing Smile

This turned out really good. I made it with Trukey sausages and added estra apple. Yummo. I'm just was person so I was eating it for days.

I made this tonight and it was excellent. Everyone ate it and enjoyed it. My only suggestion  is to slice carrot thinly so hat it cooks through.

Life's too short to eat fake cake

Great recipe, we all loved it here and there was plenty left over for the next day..Thank you Faffa 70. I've added this to my recipe collection and will be using this one again.  Smile

I'm not a good cook; I have a thermomix which makes up for my lack of culinary skill.     : )

Smile Yummy!  I had no tomatoes so i just added an extra teaspoon of stock a table spoon of tomato paste(that's all I had left too!) and the rest just water.

I added brocolli too.

I filled the steamer basket with potatoes and steamed for 15 mins varoma, and then mashed them on sp 5 for 5 seconds or so, with a splash of milk and a knob of butter.

My son grilled the snags, while Thermie did her work.

Yummy  Thanks for the recipe!

counter-clockwise operationI only just received my thermomix today.......I already had sausages out for tea but just had to find a recipe on here so that I could test out my new toy :)   One word - yummo!!! Hubby & kids all very happy with how tea turned out and came back for seconds:-) Thanks

Thank you youngone  Smile I have amended the recipe and included the water!. The recipe is meant to be fairly watery for a couple of reasons. One is to stop your sausages mashing up and the second so you have sauce for your rice. Did you leave the MC off to help it thicken

p.s. Thanks a bunch for your photo  Big smile I will get around to buying a new camera one day  Wink

Hi,

I made this tonight and it was quite nice.  I wouldn't rave over it necessarily, but it was pretty good.  A couple of things though...the recipe calls for 1 cup of water, but there is no indication of when this should be included.  When I realised, part way through Step 9,  I added the water a couple of minutes after the stock powder, and I didn't use a full cup of water.  I felt the result was too watery then tho.  I quickly added a couple of tablespoons of flour to try and thicken the sauce up and boosted the speed to around 3 and temp 100 for a few extra minutes, and it was OK...still a bit thin for my liking.

The rice turned out nice, however again, I probably would suggest 15 to 17 minutes for the rice.  There wasn't alot of rice cooked in this recipe either....probably enough for three serves as per the photo I have added to this.

Faffa, does my photo do your dish justice? Is this how you find it turns out?  Other than the water, then  followed by the flour I followed the recipe to the letter.  I wonder if I had not added the water at all, whether it would have had a better result.  Can you please advise Faffa?

Very simple to follow otherwise.  A great dish for a family dinner.

I made this tonight...one word AMAZING. The kids kept coming back for more. Definately a family favourite Smile

Had this tonight, it was delicious... The girls loved it, so a definite regular for us...I couldn't get beef sausages without additives so used Chicken sausages and chicken stock instead. I am thinking of turning some of the left overs into pies/pasties.

what can i say... but yum..
