    Mondoz:

    Hi Mondoz

Chicken shredding can be caused by a variety of reasons such as the type of chicken you are using, the amount of time the chicken has been cooking and the size cubes you cut your chicken into. If you prefer your chicken chunkier, we recommend dicing your chicken into 5-6 cm pieces.

    Kind Regards

Can anyone please tell me that why, whenever I make a recipe like this or chicken cacatore (not sure of spelling) or something similar, that the chicken gets shredded every single time????? This is very annoying - I am doing everything step by step to the recipe and have tried the same recipe over again but it still shreds the chicken???????????

Wow!!! First time making this tonight and it was soooooooo yummy. Hubby and the kids scoft it down, plus I had spare to freeze. Chopped celary, carrot & zuchini with the onion & garlic, then added added chunks of veg and frozen beans along with everything else in step 3. Cooked for 20mins then added the cream. Thank you for sharing, i will definitely be making this again.

    Submitted by Nessstuzz on 20. April 2016 - 22:00.

Very nice...whole family enjoyed it. I used chicken breast though as my kids are fussy...just kept the diced pieces fairly large to avoid them getting dry. Worked well. Thanks for the recipe.

Submitted by Greta Best on 13. May 2015 - 21:31.

Yummy and super easy. I used sweet potato and baby spinach and omitted the corn and beans..only as I didn't have any! I increased amounts to make a larger serve and cooked for longer.  Very tasty and easy to adapt to ingredients on hand.  I think it will become a family favourite.

    Submitted by Elisa84 on 14. April 2015 - 19:10.

Great tasting recipe however I felt as thought I needed to cook it tipple the time. Veggies were still so hard and chicken wasn't cooked right through. Anyone else experience this problem?

My first attempt and trying to make half this amount and silly enough to forget the corn flour tmrc_emoticons.D But very yummy. Even my 1 year old was keen to try. Has anybody tried halving this and got the amounts right? I wasn't too sure if I had to halve everything or leave the amount of water, oil, honey and mustard as is?!
