I found it quite bland too? Good for the kids, I think it needs more cornflour as well to thicken the sauce a bit.

Delicious - I added lot's of muchrooms as well with the meat. Cooked rice and green vege's in varoma first and kept in thermoserver (though green veges over cooked doing this, so mental note to under cook them next time before putting in thermoserver).
Thanks for a great tasty dish. Next time I might cook this whilst cooking veges in wok with rice noodles... mouth drooling already!

I made this tonight, I have had my 'thermo' for just 3 days. We loved this. My husband gave it 10/10, for flavour, and I couldn't believe how little mess there is after cooking a meal. I am 59 next week and this is a new cooking experience for me, and boy am I going to enjoy the ride!😀

So super quick, and beautiful tender beef. Not over cooked. I cut the beef strips myself, nice and big! Don't buy the pre-cut strips as they overlook too quickly. I served with rice and veggies like the pic, winner with the whole family. I used EVOO instead of macadamia oil as I didn't want to buy another expensive product. Worked beautifully! Thanks for an awesome recipe!!

Quick, easy and delicious. I made the boiled rice recipe from the chip before hand. I added vegies to the varoma ontop of the rice. When the rice and veg were done I put them in the thermoserver to keep warm while I made this recipe. Will me making again - thanks for sharing!!

Amazingly quick recipe. I was worried it was a little watery when it was finished but combined it with rice and froze it for meals for hubby and he said the meat just fell apart. I used blade steak and it took longer to cut it into strips then it took to do the rest of the prep. A great recipe.

Amazing meal. I was worried my fussy kids were going to turn their noses up at this one. They scoffed it down, even with a full red chilli used. Will go onto the regular rotation. So easy to make. I steamed some veg in varoma whilst cooking rice below, then transferred all to thermo server. Whilst rice & veg cooking I prepped the meat and the few ingredients needed for the beef & also cleaned up. Cooked the beef & let it rest & sauce thickened in thermo server whilst I finished a quick kitchen clean up & we ate a delicious meal about 15 mins later. I call that a successful (almost) all in one dinner (and the clean up was done!!). Thanks for a fab recipe

I was very nervous about trying this as I had never had honey with beef before so was a little unsure, but it was really yum and the kids enjoyed it! Can't wait to have it again and add a few extra things to it (different vege etc)

This was on our menu tonight and it will be one we will be making again.
i only added 1x garlic and it was yummy.
My husband isn't a fan of the meat being cooked in the thermo, so I cooked the meat in the frying pan and when the sauce had 1x minute left to cook I threw in the already cooked meat to mix in with the flavours.
It was very delish!
Next time I'll add some more veggies - but tonight we just had meat and rice!
i found there probably could have been a tiny little bit more sauce for our likings but none the less it was a yummy meal!

i dont really understand how eveeryone is rating this meal so highly? It is really lacking in flavour. I kind of had the feeling it would be but ive been surprised by simple meals in the past. One good thing i have to say is it is really really easy, however i dont think it makes up for it. Sorry!

Very Tasty Beef! There was a bit too much liquid left afterwards, but we had it with a 'cauliflower fried rice' (cauli instead of rice); actual rice would probably have sokaed up the juice a bit better. The meat was very soft - not chewy, or undercooked!
