Tip
If you like your meatballs "peppery" use black peper corns and mill first (or add an additional tsp - to taste).
If you do not like galic or onion, reduce the portions or exclude.
You can cook the meatballs in pasta sauce, instead of the oven - cooking time increases to ~40 - 60 minutes (ensure the meatballs are completely covered in sauce).
Note cooking the meatballs in the oven will give a crispy outside and moist inside (with onion & garlic caramelised), whilst cooking in sauce will produce and overall moist meatball.
I use these to top off pasta or as finger food at parties
Freeze for later use - ensure the meatballs are not touching eachother).

Got my kids to make these tonight. I thought they were great. Dad thought they were 'spicy' (which made me LOL at the lack of spice) then rephrased that they were okay, but "not like Ikea". I'll be making them again though
Made last night with almond
Made last night with almond milk instead and were delicious. I oven baked - while they were baking I made the tomato pasta sauce from the everfy day cookbook to serve with and it was beautiful.
Will be my go to meatball recipe. Next time will try with milled oats rather than breadcrumbs.

I made this receipe the first time for our mother's day luncheon, my son who is 7 and GF & DF requests it all the time.
We omitted the parmesan and used almond milk instead of cow milk.

These are awesome!
I added carrot, zucchini and baby spinch for my 11 month and he LOVED them. So did I.
Great recipe - I add carrot
Great recipe - I add carrot and zucchini after I chop the onion and garlic (like to get some extra veges in for the kids). They always stay together well and taste great baked on their own in the oven. My 4yr old loves them cold with a bit of dipping sauce for school lunch the next day.
Thanks so much for this
Thanks so much for this recipe, I added Corriander, Marjoram, and Rosemary all dried to the mix as well as used only beef mince (it's what I had to hand) I also used some crumbled Chedder cheese, I baked them also and OMG these were the best, kids and hubby all raved about them, am making another double batch now! Thanks for sharing ☺

Made as per recipe, but we all found them a little uninspiring, sorry. They were simple to make, and yielded heaps, but for me, the flavour was a little bland, and we won't be trying them again

Thank You soo much for sharing this receipe! My twin toddlers said "Mummy Yummy!" I've owned my TM for 8 months and they wont eat anything that has been made in it. This is the first meal from the TM that they have actually enjoyed and requested for more! Thanks again!!!
Great, I doubled the recipe,
Great, I doubled the recipe, but prob was almost too much volume to do in one hit, so had to finish off by hand! but we have frozen olenty and hurrah, because they were yum.
I halved the garlic as I find the garlic I buy stronger than most! And it was enough.
Super yum and a staple in our house. Cooked in sauce in the oven and straight onto pasta! I didnt bother browning first.
Made these for dinner
Made these for dinner tonight. They turned out perfect! Great recipe. Thanks!

Delicious! Absolute hIt. I browned mine in a frypan then poured the sauce over the top and let it simmer for about an hour. Served it with spaghetti and extra Parmesan. Hubby and 3 little ones devoured it.

Yummy. I used half a kilo of each meat. Made a massive amount of balls. I didn't mix the meat in the Thermomix though. I used fresh herbs. This was a hit with the whole family. Very moist. There were another 12 balls (not in this photo) from the same batch. Highly recommended!

Made these for dinner
Made these for dinner tonight. They are delicious!! Having the combination of pork and beef mince gives the meatballs a great flavour. Also used breadcrumbs made in the tmx. I will definitely be making these again.

Very yummy, my kids and I loved these! And that's from a little boy who doesn't eat meat
My kids helped me make these
My kids helped me make these and loved them. I didn't add any milk but otherwise I followed the recipe. I also cooked mexican red rice to go with them which was also a winner. Will make again.

MAde this tonight for the family tonight. I've never used breadcrumbs in my meatballs for my kids before, so they weren't huge fans. Will use the same mix without the breadcumbs and milk. But personally i loved them!!! My thermomix is new so the kids are having to get used to food being a little different lately!!
:) Literally just made these
Literally just made these meatballs now... and waiting for pasta to cook - delicious - thankyou!!
Dream Love Create
I made these tonight as Miss
I made these tonight as Miss 7 requested meatballs for dinner. I used 500gms of beef mince as that was what was defrosting and gluten free bread crumbs. Rather than cook the balls in the oven (time was of the essence) I browned them in batches in a frypan then added the pasta sauce while the pasta cooked.
The meatballs were crisp on the outside and soft in the middle and SO delicious! The recipe made heaps of walnut sized balls and my favourite phrase was uttered before the meal was complete 'you can make these again mum!' A winner!

Thanks for the recipe. I'm sure my boys will love these. They love meatballs in big pasta shells. A bit like an italian taco!
